My Favorite Tech So Far in 2026
It’s almost halfway through 2026, and I’ve been looking back at the tech purchases I made from late 2025 to early 2026 to see what actually stuck with me.
I decided to put together a list of products that I’ve personally used and would genuinely recommend to others.
Kobo Libra Colour
Zens 4-in-1 Wireless Charger
AirPods Pro 3
Logitech MX Master 4
BenQ ScreenBar Halo 2
MOFT Trackable Tripod Wallet

I used to own a Kindle, but eventually went back to physical books after becoming more convinced by the idea of truly owning my book purchases, as well as appreciating the touch and feel of physical books in my otherwise screen-filled day-to-day life.
What eventually convinced me to return to the e-reader space, and why I picked up my first Kobo, was realizing that I could borrow library books through Libby with a Kobo. As someone based in Singapore, this was something I couldn’t do with a Kindle, at least not as easily outside of the US.
The reason I chose the Kobo Libra Colour specifically wasn’t really for the colour display or stylus support, but rather the physical buttons that give a more tactile feel when turning to the next or previous page.
With the number of books I’ve already borrowed and read, and many more to come, I’m hopeful this will continue to prove itself as a worthwhile purchase.
Zens 4-in-1 Wireless Charger

This is a product that really matched both the needs and aesthetic of my desk setup. It charges my Apple Watch, phone, and AirPods, while the additional USB-C port lets me charge other devices like my iPad or smaller tech gadgets.
My favourite part of the design is actually the back stand, which lets you rest a tablet or iPad upright while charging, or simply use it as storage when not in use. It fits nicely alongside the rest of Apple’s design language, especially if your setup already includes a MacBook, Mac mini or Studio, and Studio Display.
AirPods Pro 3

The AirPods probably need no introduction. They’re simply a compact and convenient pair of earbuds for anyone in the Apple ecosystem.
They take up barely any space in your bag, connect seamlessly the moment you put them on, and switch automatically between your Apple devices. Although I’m not the most frequent user of noise cancellation, I still opted for the Pro version for moments when I need it, whether that’s working in an overly noisy café, dealing with renovation sounds at home, or simply trying to focus more deeply.
BenQ ScreenBar Halo 2

I was already a fan of the BenQ ScreenBar Plus because I liked how a monitor light gave my desk the extra lighting that my ceiling light couldn’t. I also preferred it over a traditional table lamp, which would otherwise take up desk space.
The ScreenBar Halo 2 adds a few very welcome upgrades. First is the backlight that softly lights up the wall behind your monitor. Second, the controller is now wireless, meaning you can place it more freely while also reducing cable clutter. Third, and probably my favourite upgrade, is the automatic lighting that turns on or off depending on whether I’m at my desk.
There are likely improvements in lighting quality and eye comfort as well, but honestly, the upgrades above alone were enough to convince me, and so far the purchase has proven worthwhile.
Logitech MX Master 4

I upgraded to the MX Master 4 from the MX Master 3. The white version of my older mouse had started yellowing, and this newer version claims to have improved stain resistance and easier cleaning.
I’ll admit the addition of the large haptic button and Action Ring shortcuts intrigued me enough to justify the upgrade, although I never really got into the habit of using it in my workflow. What I appreciated more were the smaller refinements, like the frosted finish on top, the improved placement of the horizontal scroll wheel, and the additional side buttons.
MOFT Trackable Tripod Wallet

The newest addition to my tech accessories is the MOFT Trackable Tripod Wallet. Coming from their earlier tripod stand, MOFT has managed to pack quite a lot into the same compact form factor.
There’s now space for up to two cards, support for Apple Find My, and even a Bluetooth camera shutter button. My main use case, however, is still simply propping up my phone quickly as a MagSafe stand, while the added features feel more like nice bonuses whenever I need them.
Truthfully, this was more of a quality-of-life upgrade from my previous tripod stand, which had become slightly worn out after a few years of fairly heavy use.
